αν το πρωτότυπο είναι γραμμένο σε άλλη γλώσσα.

6. Ξαναδουλέψτε το ως ποίημα :

7. χωρίστε το σε στίχους

8. δημιουργήστε στροφές,

9. αλλάξτε τη στίξη.

10. Δεν μπορείτε να αφαιρέσετε η να προσθέσετε·

λέξεις, πέραν του τίτλου.

RULES

1. Take a prose passage that wants to be a poem.

2. Transcribe it.

3. Note the author,

4. the title of the book where you found the passage,

5. and the translator, if originally in another language.

6. Rework it as a poem:

7. you can break it into lines,

8. create stanzas,

9. change the punctuation,

10. but you mustn’t delete or add words, except a title.

Πρόκειται για την ανθολογία 49 ποιητών που έγραψαν ποίηση στα ελληνικά κατά τα χρόνια της κρίσης. Την ανθολογία συνέταξε η Κάρεν Βαν Ντάυκ, καθηγήτρια νεοελληνικής λογοτεχνίας στο Τμήμα των Κλασικών Σπουδών του Πανεπιστημίου Κολούμπια της Νέας Υόρκης.

Η αγγλική δίγλωσση έκδοση στα Penguin και η αντίστοιχη αμερικανική στα New York Review Books τιμήθηκαν με το London Hellenic Prize (2016) και χαρακτηρίστηκαν από την εφημερίδα New Statement ως "κορυφαίο βιβλίο της χρονιάς" και από την Guardian ως "Βιβλίο του μήνα" (Δεκέμβριος 2016).
